I'm an early career director working in theatre and opera. The first operas I directed while doing my undergrad were short form new works by other students and I've had an affinity for working on chamber and contemporary opera ever since. Alongside directing I write text for opera/music theatre, collaborating with composers on developing new work with a particular interest in using the form to excavate digitally mediated relationships.
Now based in London, I was born in Cardiff and grew in Yorkshire. I was initially a historian, and still have a strong interest in early Christian history. Outside of opera I enjoy reading novels, swimming and hiking.
