I began singing in my church choir. It was my then-teacher Coral Gould MBE who introduced me to art song and taught me the potential to tell stories through singing. In 2019, I was accepted onto the Cheshire Specialist Music Course established by the Love Music Trust, which guided me to begin an undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. At the RNCM, I have been able to perform opera studying with Andrew Heggie and Linda Richardson.
I’m really passionate about film, specifically British cinema, and I occasionally write for blog posts and newsletters. The best part about living in Manchester is the live music, and you can always find me at gigs of any genre. Alongside performing opera, I have aspirations of directing too.
